Ok these cookies are the definition of DREAMY! When I was younger I always looked forward to when my mom made homemade cookies and my all time favorite recipe was the @nestletollhouse chocolate chip cookies. Recently I was craving some of those soft chewy cookies and was wondering if I can make the same chewy chocolate chip cookies I remember in a healthier version and these dreamy cookies were the result. You might wonder why I use almond flour all the time and the answer is almond flour makes things softer since it retains more liquid (also less refined), so these cookies turned out to be one of the chewiest and softest cookies I have EVER had!

Ingredients:

-3/4 cup coconut sugar

-1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce

-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

-1 egg

-1/2 tsp. salt

-1/2 tsp. baking soda

-1 1/4 cup almond flour

-1/4 cup ococonut flour

-1/4-1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (depending on your preference)

Directions:

  1. Mix all the wet and dry ingredients (except chocolate chips) in separate bowls and

  2. Combine both the wet and dry ingredients

  3. Fold the chocolate chips in the batter

  4. Bake at 375 F for about 15 minutes or until edges get slightly brown.
