Recently, I have been making granola non-stop. I love granola because it goes good with so many breakfast foods and snacks. My favorite way to eat is on top of oatmeal, yogurt, with fruit or just by the handful. Granola is loaded with healthy fats, carbs, fiber and protein. This is why granola makes the perfect balanced snack and can make a snack more balanced. Instead of a apple for a snack, try including some granola. The nutrient dense granola paired with an apple makes the perfect balanced snack. This is my go-to recipe for the most delicious granola!

Ingredients:

-1 cup of Oatmeal (I used Earnest Eats Superfood Oatmeal)

-1 Tbs. Peanut Butter

-1 Tbs. Manuka Honey

-2 tsp. olive oil

-1/4 tsp. salt

-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

-1 Tbs. cacao powder

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 275 F

2. Mix all ingredients together in medium sized bowl

3. Spread granola onto a sheet pan until evenly dispersed

4. Bake in oven for 25 minutes, be sure to shake the pan 1/2 way through to mix

5. Let cool and enjoy!
