My Alaskan Adventure

One thing I loved about Alaska is their love for coffee. Every corner had a small stand in a parking lot serving espresso and coffee. So luckily I did not have to sacrifice my daily cup of coffee on this trip because coffee was literally on every street corner.

I had so much salmon while in Alaska and I enjoyed every bite! I love salmon and there is definitely something amazing about the taste of FRESH Alaskan salmon verses store bought salmon all the way in South Carolina. It was my first time to have a salmon quesadilla and salmon burger, made the way the locals eat it, and that will be something I will definitely miss about Alaska.

Even though the food was spectacular, the scenery was INSANE! I never seen such beauty in my life and although it rained a lot and was pretty cold (compared to SC summer weather) while we were there, it was still SO BEAUTIFUL! The touristy things we got to do was hiking up Flattop mountain, go on a whale tour, visit the Alaska zoo and the Matanuska glacier. I made so many great memories in Alaska and now I get to check one more state off my list.
